🌈✨ RAINBOW CRAWL DAY AT THE HILL SCHOOL ✨🌈

What an incredible day of color, connection, and purpose across our campuses! Our students traveled from classroom to classroom on their Rainbow Crawl—each stop designed around a special theme that brought learning to life in fun, ...hands-on ways. All students got their passports stamped for:

❤️ Red – Energy & Movement
🧡 Orange – Creativity & Exploration
💛 Yellow – STEM & Happiness
💚 Green – Nature & Growth
💙 Blue – Water & Calmness
💜 Purple – Imagination
💗 Pink – Kindness & Friendship
🌌 Navy – Night Sky

From jumping, climbing, building, creating, and exploring to practicing kindness and using their imaginations, every classroom experience was intentional—helping our students grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

But even more meaningful than the activities was what the rainbow represents. 🌈
In Genesis 9:13, God gave us the rainbow as a sign of His promise—a reminder that He is faithful, keeps His word, and is always with us.

On Friday, our students didn’t just explore colors… they were reminded that God’s promises are true, constant, and beautiful—just like the rainbow.

We loved seeing our school come together in such a joyful and meaningful way! 💚

✨ This Week at The Hill School ✨

This week our Hedgehog Hero Character Focus is Servant Heart. 🦔💚

Our students will be learning from the story in John 13:1–17, where Jesus washed His disciples’ feet. Even though He was their teacher and leader, Jesus chose to serve ...others. Through this powerful example, He showed us that true leadership means putting others first.

Our memory verse reminds us of this important truth: Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all. — Mark 9:35

Our Bright Idea for the week:
Jesus served others and wants us to do the same.

Throughout the week, teachers will be watching for students who show a Servant Heart by:
• Helping others without being asked
• Encouraging their classmates
• Showing kindness and humility
• Serving their teachers and friends
• Putting others first

At Friday’s rally, one student from each class will be recognized as our Hedgehog Hero for demonstrating a Servant Heart. We can’t wait to see our students shine bright as they follow Jesus’ example and serve others this week! ✨

Today was nothing short of incredible! 🦸‍♀️✨

The Hill School was honored to host the Passionate Educators Conference by Early Childhood Solutions, and our hearts are so full after a day spent with a room full of amazing educators.

Educators truly are superheroes. Every ...day they pour into children, families, and fellow teachers—shaping hearts, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation. But even superheroes need their cups filled, and Debbie and Elizabeth always go above and beyond to do just that.

Today we were empowered, encouraged, inspired, and celebrated.

After a full day of learning, collaboration, and laughter, we are leaving with full hearts and fresh ideas that we cannot wait to bring back into our classrooms.

Thank you to every educator who joined us today. Your work matters more than you know. 💚

Leadership Night kicked off the weekend ahead of the 4th Annual Passionate Educators Conference, and what an incredible evening it was!

We are so grateful for Early Childhood Solutions and the way they pour into educators across the country. Their mission to equip and inspire teachers is ...truly making an impact in classrooms everywhere.

It is such an honor for The Hill School to host this conference again. Tonight leadership teams from multiple states gathered to connect, learn, and prepare for a full day of professional development tomorrow. The energy in the room was powerful—filled with educators who care deeply about the children they serve.

We are especially thankful for our incredible teachers who put in a 15-hour day today and will be right back at it tomorrow, continuing to grow, learn, and lead. That kind of dedication says everything about the heart of our team.

We are truly blessed with educators who pour into our school day after day, shaping lives and building the future one child at a time. 💚

✨ Mid-Week Chapel at The Hill School ✨

Our students had such a special time together at chapel this week! From worship and movement to digging into God’s Word, it was beautiful to see students of all ages learning and growing together.

This week’s Bright Idea reminded us ...that God is the giver of all good things and calls us to give with cheerful hearts. 💛 We read the story of the widow’s offering in Mark 12:41–44 and talked about how generosity isn’t about how much we give — it’s about the heart behind it.

We love seeing our Hedgehogs worship, learn, and encourage one another as they grow in faith and character.

Music filled our campuses today! 🎶

Our students had such a wonderful time during Special Music Enrichment with Mrs. Jamie this Wednesday! All our students loved listening to her play different musical instruments, singing together, practicing finger plays, and learning about musical ...notes and beats.

Music is such a powerful way to spark creativity, build confidence, and help young learners develop rhythm, listening skills, and coordination. Watching their excitement and curiosity today was pure joy!

We are so grateful for opportunities like this that bring hands-on enrichment and joyful learning to our students each week. What a great Wednesday at The Hill School! 🎵💚

📚🦔 Hedgehog Reading Buddies

One of our favorite moments of the week is when our elementary Hedgehogs visit our early childhood classrooms to read with our youngest students.

These special storytimes are about so much more than books. Our older students practice confidence, ...leadership, and kindness, while our little learners develop a love for stories and reading.

There is something truly special about watching our Big Hedgehogs encourage our Little Hedgehogs one page at a time. 💚
