Welcome to the Mobile 1 Classroom

Although every student is assigned to a home room, they will explore new opportunities throughout their school day. Allosing students to transition to the other classrooms in their community each day for scheduled activities keeps students engaged and challenged.

Our Mobile classroom is a very transitional classroom. We will have students in this classroom that are learning to crawl and learning to walk, some will only be on bottles and others will be eating table food. Typically our students are 6-12 months old in this classroom. When students first transition into this classroom they will still be on a parent set schedule, but most students around 7-8 months will start napping about twice a day, so our Mobile 1 classroom does have a flexible set schedule. They have meals at 8am, 11am, 2pm and 4pm and they typically nap at 10am and 2pm.

THS faculty work four 10 hour days, so they are here from 7:30am-5:30pm 4 days per week. Our Infanct Community faculty will rotate throughout the week in each classroom. This allows our students to create strong bonds with our faculty and it eliminates triggers for transition meltdowns. This type of schedule creates a structure and routine specifically for transitioning at a very early age, building each student up for success.
